Integration of the Maritime Chain: Sustainability, a new, innovative business model
Organized by the University of Antwerp and BNP Parisbas Co innovation, this event (in Dutch) aimed to give a European perspective on how freight forwarders, shippers and other parties in the logistics supply chain can engage in sustainable logistics programmes and use the GLEC Framework – EU/global perspective. CLECAT Director General Nicolette van der Jagt presented GLEC/LEARN in the 3 roundtable discussions. Few participants were familiar with the GLEC Framework and called for an ISO standard – CLECAT gave a different perspective and clarified differences between programmes and the GLEC Framework.
