Verena Ehrler of the DLR Institute of Transport Research in Germany, a LEARN consortium partner, won the Senior Researcher competition for cross-modality of the Transport Research Arena (TRA). The prestigious award was handed out of the EC to 4 young and 4 senior researchers for road, rail, waterborne and cross-modality. Her work on “Standardisation of transport chain emission calculation – status quo and what is needed next" is on the LEARN topic of logistics emissions accounting.
